Last week, Winters & Yonker Personal Injury Lawyers successfully completed our 2022 Thanksgiving Giveback campaign. Our firm donated 611 turkeys and hundreds of boxes of cereal and canned goods to Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa.
Each turkey was roughly 20 lbs, meaning our donation consisted of over 12,000 lbs of turkey! We’re extremely grateful for our hardworking employees who gathered our goods from local stores in Tampa and carried the heavy birds to the donation center.
We could ask for no better partner for our giveback campaign than Metropolitan Ministries. This incredible organization provided “Holiday Tents” where members of the Tampa community could receive hot meals on Thanksgiving Day. Every plate served as a promise to hungry families that things will get better. Overall, Metropolitan Ministries served over 14,000 needy families, distributing 10,000 hot Thanksgiving meals from its three Holiday tents, 14 Tampa neighborhood pop-up sites, and 30 hot meal partner locations. It also delivered meals directly to families in need.
